Eckhaus Latta classic lapped baby turtleneck this season featured in a fun color stamped shade named Brick. Multiple lapped pieces where raw edged seems are highlighted with contrasting orange topstitching. This version has dark brown dip dye with sprayed orange orb at the chest center. The logo is screen printed in orange at the left abdomen.
Zoe Latta and Mike Eckhaus met while attending Rhode Island School of Design. The two quickly found success designing for the likes of Opening Ceremony, Proenza Schouler and Calvin Klein, however felt this commercial work to be restrictive. Out of that discomfort, the pair founded Eckhaus Latta in 2011. The line is greatly influenced by their fine art practice, and unsurprisingly their work has been selected for the Whitney Museum's esteemed Biennial exhibit, as well as exhibits at MoMA PS1 and the Hammer Museum.
