Founded by daughter/mother duo Emily and Joan Sugihara alongside their friend Ellen Vanderlaan in 2007, BAGGU has been a ubiquitous and delightful sight in farmers markets around the globe. Known for their trademark cheerful colors and graphic design, BAGGU's recycled nylon shopping totes have been a favorite of almost everyone we know, and this small but mighty team has collaborated with everyone from Collina Strada to MoMA. Since the launch of their signature Baggu Bag, the brand has expanded their design offerings but maintain a strict ethos of sustainability and manufacture their goods with a family-owned, Chinese factory partner who shares their commitment to ethical production.
