New York-based Kara has become a staple for the fashion crowd due to her strong but minimalist bags that are designed to stand the test of time. The name Kara comes from the Japanese word, "karaoke" which means "empty orchestra" (though we all know and love what karaoke has come to represent). The concept of emptiness is quintessential to the Kara brand, as designer Sarah Law believes strongly in the power of creating space to allow individuality flourish.
